Coastal homes deal with higher year-round indoor humidity than inland homes. We can address this at install time with variable-speed equipment that ramps cooling capacity up and down with demand (which dehumidifies more effectively than single-stage equipment), or by adding a whole-home dehumidifier integrated with the AC ductwork. For homes that have struggled with mold, musty smell, or humid indoor air, the dehumidifier is the right add-on.
Variable-speed heat pumps are the best fit for coastal Florida because they ramp cooling capacity up and down with demand, which means better humidity control, lower power draw, and quieter operation. We also install standard central AC, two-stage AC, and high-efficiency systems.
